There is just something about a dance studio. I feel alive, at peace, and so at home in one and makes me so excited for the day I have my own studio. The wooden floors, the ballet barre's, the paintings that decorate the studio's all make my heart soar.
So here I am doing what I was born to do. It was a tough class and I was all sweaty and that was before I even started work for the day! But I was in a beautiful dance skirt and a ballet cardigan that my mom used to use in her aerobics days. Her and I share the love of dance I hope to pass to a daughter one day.
Let's not forget the most beautiful shoes in the world - my first pair of pointe shoes that I somehow have managed to keep in good shape till now. After many more hours of pointe work they will become even more battered and equally just as beautiful.
