I don't personally have this book just yet but believe me it's on the wish list! I paged through a relatives and was so engrossed it felt as if I was living every page of the stories and experiences Darcey was sharing, I faught back tears with the last few pages that documented the end of her career.
She just inspires, whether it was her piece in the Olympics, her pearls of wisdom on Strictly Come Dancing, or her Audrey Hepburn documentary she presented for the BBC. She has a grace, elegance and dance style that captivates you and her walking almost seems as if she is dancing even then.
Do yourself a favour and buy, read, or page through the book, it was the best few minutes spent in my life! This is an InspirationTuesday on its own, this book!
Share your inspirational dancers, your dance books you love and simply what inspires, ballet! Blog posts welcome or an email on: dancegrace2@gmail.com
Love to all x
