Beauty behind the scenes

This photo was taken and edited by me, below you will see a behind the scenes photo of what it really looked like. My husband took the photo as I was on my knees, ballet shoes covered in fairy lights, tulip poised artistically over it all or so I tried-laughs!
The photo finally came out as I wanted after many many shots, positions, and attempts but I needed to edit it then; I love photography so I'm quite picky about how something should look.

Life, our dancing, or photography is just like that, we have a very one sided view of the beauty people portray to us. Dancing for instance, that ballerina in the exquisite tutu with the beautiful stage make up en pointe we see the smile and the beauty she shows us but behind the scenes we don't see the bleeding toes, the sore feet, the broken pointe shoes.
Instagram especially is creating a 'unrealistic perfection' in this life with filters, just the right amount of photo that you can put in the box, and showing only what you want to others. Nothing is wrong with this, I love Instagram,  I just want you to realise we can create a very perfect image in this life especially if you only see one side.

Have dreams, have a passion to achieve them, but do have realistic expectations, and most importantly want something for yourself! Want it because it makes you feel amazing, makes you happy or just because it's for you!
Beauty is in the eye oft he beholder so it won't always be to others liking, remember that there is beauty behind the scenes and this too can also only be to your liking, but this is what makes this life fun.

Leave your inspiration as a post on my blog or email me on dancegrace2@gmail.com
Love to all x
