Life

The tricky thing with life is it gets in the way of life. It majorly gets in the way or it simply causes a pot hole on life's journey.

As you can see, this is the first post since Easter. There are no witty anecdotes today, no gems of wisdom to share and no harrowing tales of how I made it through. It basically sucked and still kinda does.
My reprieve from it all came in the form of a week off from the daily grind of work. Some peace, sunshine, laziness and doing none of the jobs around the house that I should, have me feeling more human again.

A few things my weeks/months of difficulties have taught me:
1. Surround yourself with what you love. Dance and ballet pictures, quotes etc. lift my mood at any moment.
2. Dancing and cocoa are nature's antidepressants. Dont forget to enjoy both!
3. Don't loose sight of your personal goals in your short term struggles - Dance Studio I am still coming for you!
4. Don't forget to look for life's rainbows - in a day we get so focused on the negative, sad, or bad but don't forget to look for the incredible, wonderful or lovely too.

It sounds like a cliche but when you get a second to change your scenery like by having a mini holiday, you will remind yourself this too shall pass.
Send your thoughts and things you have learnt in personal difficulties or rainbow filled/inspirational times. Blog posts or an email on: dancegrace2@gmail.com are welcome.

Love to all xx
