A few weeks ago, I had the privilege of making a dream come true. Victoria Beckham has always been for me a symbol of class, style, hard work and dedication to her dream. Many may dispute that all she has achieved has been because she has had help and a privileged life. I acknowledge she may not have the life some of us have but she juggles motherhood, being a wife, and being a leading fashion icon with a fashion empire all in the same day we have.
Regardless of your thoughts and feelings that is commendable!
I skipped across the road and stood camera ready for a photo that my sister kindly snapped. I was peeking in the windows after I realised I wasn't going to be able to go inside - they were closed for renovations over the weekend. I wasn't able to see much sadly, but the security guard came over and smiled letting me know it would be open again on Monday.
I let him know I wouldn't be in London on Monday but I had seen the shop today, we shared a smile and I skipped back over the road. I started to cry when it really hit me, I had physically seen this magnificent and beautiful shop! I was a bit disappointed to not be able to go inside but I'm quite content to wait and go in when I can buy a handbag.
In our everyday lives we sometimes forget what we have achieved and what dreams we have to work toward but this just made me realise I want a beautiful symbol of inspiration and dreams come true that people too feel better just for seeing.
Share your recent dream come true or how you too felt for seeing Victoria Beckhams store, by blog post or by email on: dancegrace2@gmail.com
Always inspiring and always working to make the dream a reality, love to all xx
