Creativity

The days seem long, never ending and tiring. They seem to move in a slow yet fast blur, I need to find that spark again.

I feel like I’m in a wasteland between two pivotal places - one past - a significant factor in the present but one future - unknown and daunting, yet something important lay there.
I need to rekindle the fire for dance again, I need to live that reason why I dance again.

It’s become one of my favourite things, stealing a moment after my work commute and seeing what flowers are on flash sale at the supermarket because the end of the day has come and what’s left if not sold will go to waste.
Whatever change I have allows what I purchase. I then take that moment and I savour it, the moments where I pore over the objects and arrange it to create a still life photography session.
It’s liberating, it engages the creative space in my brain that for hours even days lay dormant and it gives my soul a spark of energy.

It’s become a beautiful pastime that I thoroughly enjoy and it’s made me realise I need to do that with my dancing too. I just need to pick up my dance shoes because my soul is tired but it’s tired from sitting dormant.

Creativity is meant to lift our souls and those who have figured out how to let that creativity flourish most of their days are the ones truly alive and those truly living.

Love to all xx
