Inspiration Tuesday 2

I have a considerable amount of respect for my first ballet teacher. For those of you who didn't know I finally had the opportunity to start my life long dream of taking ballet classes at 21 years of age. Miss V Rothwell is the incredible person I have to thank for believing in my dreams, teaching me incredible technique, and for working with the natural abilities and talent I had. She taught me where to work harder-on my weaknesses, where I had good strengths and how to use that to the best of my ability, and she had so much patience and so much time for my ever changing work/free time schedule.

In the two and a half almost three years that I had the privilege of being under her training I passed my first ever classical ballet exam with distinction, I participated in a school showcase, I came second in a dance festival, I was part of a charity dance, I went en pointe at 23, and I realised I also have a love for lyrical dance.
So much can happen in such a short time, you can feel that you have been a part of something so magnificent all your life when in actual fact it's been a few years.

I had to leave when I relocated but I keep in touch and she will always be a significant person in my life, she feels and believes the dreams I dream too and that makes all the difference I this life!
Here is a beautiful picture of my inspiration, she is wearing the most exquisite black tutu that was the first ever tutu I tried on during class practise one day. It's not my picture but it's special because of the tutu and the wonderful woman who has changed my life as well as my dancing, in it.
